Great Discovery Day in Stoke
Rico was fantastic and was a pleasure to be around. During the day we visited many properties and even had a LIVE negotiation with a vendor which I got to see how Rico was able to negotiate and really knew what he was doing. A few of the properties we viewed were properties Rico found privately (not on Rightmove) which it gave us a real advantage in getting a great deal as it is a private vendor selling.
Rico was thorough when looking around properties and had a good idea of refurb costs which gave confidence on his calculations. We met with his builder and local team who were also on point and knew the area inside out. I could see that Rico has a strong team around him who are all supporting what he does.
Before going out on this day with Rico, my confidence was not great and I always felt like I didn’t really know where to start, how to negotiate with vendors and what to do but this day really did boost my confidence as we saw so many properties it was an intense day and got a lot out of it. Rico as friendly and profestsional and was able to really give me some good advice on what to look out for and what not to.
Previously, I spent a few days with a mentor which I paid around £17k for a program and the mentorship was not great. I was a little let down by that other program and didnt feel very confident but when going up North with Rico I felt the day was really useful and learned more than what I did in the program I paid for.
Since spending the day with Rico, I continued going up to the investment area and looking at many properties following the same methods I learned from Rico. Since then I have been able to purchase more properties by myself which were goldmines. It’s now given me the confidence that if I found a property that I could not personally take on myself I would look to pass onto other investors I work with.
Rico had also sourced me probably one of the best deals I have come across which is currently being refurbished and once let out would be NET cash flowing over £1,000 per month.
